Rachel was initially drawn to yoga and pilates after discovering she has significant scoliosis as an adult, and is now a passionate practitioner of both.  She loves how both disciplines have provided her with the tools to not only help manage the condition, but also with bringing balance to life’s more chaotic moments! Having experienced first hand just how beneficial cultivating a mind-body connection can be, Rachel is now enthusiastic about sharing it. She is a 250 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Hatha and Yin Yoga teacher, and a certified Stott Pilates instructor for both mat and reformer pilates. She always endeavours to make her classes welcoming and fun, with a strong focus on correct alignment. She encourages mindful, intentional movement that is driven by self exploration and curiosity- and always stresses that the focus should be on what feels good for your body, instead of how it looks. You can expect a big smile, bad jokes and good tunes!
